I tried, but unfortunately you need an address in the United States in order to sign up. :(

Ugh, really? That's wack. (And cuts off part of our forces. Blast!) But yes I see now in FAQ you must be USA. I'm assuming they will have to change that eventually if they want to compete with PayPal.

The US citizen requirement puts me out of the running too. :( Blame Canada!

Grrr - I can see the $25, but cannot complete registration for some reason - "unable to verify"

I'll keep trying...

I totally did this! Pay no attention to the weird email address it comes from, I make up new ones on my server when I sign up for stuff in case of spam.

Yeah, I'm coming up with an error message too. Will keep trying...

Can we use Paypal or Chip-in instead? I am happy to Paypal but don't want to create another account, esp. a financial one. Is that ok?

From Jan
Yes, sorry, it's not working for me either. :(

Good Luck from Germany!

From Kellie
Seemed to work fine for me.

From Katie
Done and done. I had no problems, but I suppose they should be expected with a new site/company.

Yes on the official site you can still use PayPal, but that money of course is not free to you like this is. http://www.artemiseternal.com

Can you guys please send this to your friends and family with a brief explanation of your involvement in the project and urge them to do it?

Also per the terms and conditions, no one person can take in over $600 in $10 referral fees. Right now Jay's is up, then I swap mine in on the button but I need some Wingmen who I can put in after mine if we continue to take in funds and who can let me know when they get close to the $600 and then transfer that over. E-mail me the code to your refer a friend (there's a button on the site to create it) if you can help.

Signed up without any problems, but can't seem to transfer the money. Keeps giving me an error instead. I'll try again later.

What's the error? Is that where everyone else is getting the error? If so I will call them.

From Armin
Website: http://www.arminsykes.com
The error is:

/SendMoney/SendMoney.aspx
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error: character string buffer too small ORA-06512: at "GRATISADMIN.P2P_SENDMONEY_PKG", line 55 ORA-01403: no data found ORA-06512: at line 1

Which is basically nonsense to me.

Reading through the FAQ, I see a couple different things that might cause an error, although I'd hope that nonsense above wouldn't be the result of either of these: 1) You can only have $2500 in your account at a time, and trying to send someone who is full-up to that amount will cause an error; 2) apparently you can only receive $1000 per day, although I'm unclear right now if that's per person or total.

That is hella obnoxious and defies sense. (I hadn't noticed that.) Neither of those should be a problem yet, however...

I've emailed them about it. Hopefully it's not something stupid on my part. I probably shouldn't Internet while sick.

.aspx is the extension for an Active Server Page (so that means a Microsoft Product, I believe). Regardless, it sounds like an internal buffer error - in other words, a problem with the code behind the page (maybe volume is higher than anticipated with their free $25). A problem between the page and the SQL database behind the scenes.

Hey, I'm a manager now. I don't actually code anymore. smile

I tried, first in Firefox, then in IE. It's almost done, but the Step 3 of 3 Submit button was nonfunctional.... I got the email about accepting the $25, so my account works, but apparently the account is pending. I'm outside the US now (IP address-wise), but I'm a US citizen. Have to see what happens, I guess.

Well, I'll say this much: We are definitely earning that $25 on some counts; testing out their Beta-ness.

Yeah that sucks about international. Not awesome.

FYI - 22 people have done this so far. I think we have almost 800 dollars. It adds up! Please, please send this to your friends and family - easiest/cheapest way for them to become a Wingman, and we only have 1 day left!

From Armin

I've tried every variation I can think of, in IE and Firefox, and I get that darn error every single time I try to submit the transfer.

Still no response on my email to them about this.

Well I signed up a few days ago and got an account, but never got a $25 email and no $25 in the account. Tried to open the 'contact' webpage to contact them and get a hostname failure on their part.

Will keep trying!

Ugh - Frustrating! Sorry about the Steven, and thanks for trying so hard. I've already e-mailed them to tell them we've been having some problems and that they could find the feedback here, so hopefully they respond to you.

Steve's problem is also mine. day 3, and still no $25. but I'll be donating a huge chunk of my own money when i get paid tomorrow. and i'll be sending with paypal.
this beta is a great idea; too bad it craps out on so many users. lots of potential cash lost.
