| There are three rules you must never break when taking care of a Nerds: 1) Don't shine them with bright lights, especially sunlight. 2) Never get them wet. 3) And whatever you do, never, ever feed them after midnight. (No matter how much pizza they ask for.) |

| I don't know about these nerds. Some of them seem cool, but it sounds like most of them are really unfriendly. |

I know. Why don't they want to be my friends?
Perhaps they fear my vast knowledge of MK fatalities… |

| Don't look at me, I was innocently playing Uno at the time. Besides, pizza does a vegan no good. :P |

Maybe they're just not the same nerds, what with the signing in and signing out, and the true way to achieve queendom over them domain would not be to assume that they all act uniformly, but rather by appealing to those who are the most powerful sect of their society. To expect unanimity as a pre-condition for your coronation would be folly; all you need is sufficient, not total, support. And then you'll be queen and can do anything you want, but I'd recommend against executing the particularly deviant nerds immediately, at least until the second year of your reign, as nerds have a natural predilection to band together in mutual self-defense against threats like dodge balls.
On a more serious note, that guy was a punk, as was whoever answered the phone. Because come on, if you assume everybody's a jerk, then everybody's going to be a jerk. (And it's "me neither", jerk.) |

You know, I've tried to understand, tried to look at this from as many nerd and geek perspectives as I've been privy to in my less than sheltered life, but I don't suffer fools and obnoxious twits lightly...including myself. I'll probably have to ground myself for a week for this, but maybe not having any notoriety in life, beyond being the people who deliberately sat at the wrong theatre to see a movie that won't be playing there, affects these types differently than the rest of the world. You know, like that alpha-wave dealie that Fry didn't have in Futurama?
Oh, and PS? I'm going to flush the karma toilet now, because what they're paying forward requires some significant cosmic deodorizer. |

| Everybody has a bad day...apparently you caught someone being really stupid out there. I'm one of the few who actually think we should stop certain peeps from answering the phone...but there's no way that'll ever fly. I'm sorry someone was rude to you...never any excuse for that. :-/ |

Yep Val's right. This line is a a microcosm society. Yes we're all nerds but there are many types of nerds just like there are many types of people. I AM actually getting sick of apologizing for the trouble nerds in line though. Some of us are awesome, some of us are assholes, and some of us are just freaking crazy. Just like the rest of the world. Except that this world exisits on the corner of Hollywood and Orange. You should have heard the things I did while I was pretending to sleep last night.
Who was on the computer at 5:41pm? I know I was on there before that but I don't recall who was on after me. |

Agreed Aris...I'm getting sick of apologizing for people too. Some people are just stupid and shouldn't be allowed near the phone or comp...and if you're in a bad mood and don't feel like dealing with people you should know better and stay away from it.
Grr...argh. |

LiningUp2005: at this point you should feel glad we're answering the phone
Uh . . . what? Is this person serious? Anyone should feel glad that they're answering the phone? Because . . . why, exactly? What? Are you nerds sure this is the nerd you want representing all of you to the world? At times like this, I am so glad I'm a geek. |

Impossible! C.Sto is clearly Wheaton's biggest fan.
When she's president, I'm pretty sure there's going to be a "Wesley Crusher Should Have Been Captain of Something" monument built on the lawn of the White House. |
