|I think many writer's fall into the trap of becoming too attached to their characters. Subsequently, the story suffers by being shaped around them, rather than the characters being shaped by the story.|
Good writers create vivid, three dimensional characters.
Great writers don't balk when the story requires that they be sacrificed.
