You mean... there aren't going to be any flying snowboards or CGI/Looney Tunes fight scenes in AAE or TSL?
Psch, I want my donation back!

What a coincidence...I didn't like the film much either.

This makes two emo-related movies that I've seen in a week (Spidey 3 and The Invisible.) Somebody shoot me.

I saw both Spider-man 3 and Next this past week.

My thoughts.

Haha! This is all very hilarious.

Do you think that in future times there will be amusing throwbacks to the “old movies of the 2000s,” you know the ones with the terrible scripts and big CGI spectacle in a time when people had zero willpower and would buy anything shiny put in front of them?

Oh how we will have evolved and moved on by then, I'm sure.

I think it must be a sign of maturing tastes that I am far more interested in seeing a film like Away From Her than TMNT.

Teenage Dave would be so disappointed.

I also find the trailer for Across the Universe fascinating. I'm normally not one for musicals. It looks like something I will either love or hate.

I agree that Across the Universe could go either way.

And, I like this trailer:

I'm usually good with judging trailers, but Across the Universe has me on the fence. I'm sure I'll see it because so many past and current Broadway cast members from RENT are in it, but who knows.

And I still have yet to see Spiderman. I am going Thursday and reviews all suck so I'm really nervous.

Dude, why are you going to see it if you know it's going to suck? I hope it's free, at least. wink

From Stef
I'm going to see it because it's Spiderman and I have been waiting for it!! I didn't like the first movie but LOVE the second, so I need to see the third.

Oh and it's the same reason why I will be seeing the next Harry Potter movie even though I say I won't... it may suck, but I can't stay away from the damn thing!! Curiosity and me wanting it to be good even though it won't makes me go. Damn Hollywood. Damn them to hell!!!

Jameson has it right "fool me once..."

Instead of seeing bad movies or so many bad movies -- why don't we all put $10 into AAE? Think about it -- that's the price of one movie ticket. Maybe it will balance all the money we waste supporting bad movie products
