Originally I was here hoping to get in on some free Star Wars nerd pizza...but no one left me any.

Great entry, Greg. I'm sure I can speak for many in saying your contributions and collaborations in Jess' projects have been greatly appreciated. I look forward to the fruits of current and future endeavours.

And someday, when I scrape together enough spare change, I'll have to get my TSL print framed. It pains me every time I have to look at the shipping tube resting in the corner.

I came over from Wil Wheaton expecting to be entertained, but stayed for the amazing.

Like Greg, I'm here to be a part of amazing. But more than that, to witness, to experience, to appreciate, to admire and identify with it. Not vicariously, but companionably. The entertainment is just a sweet bonus. Yeah, she's pretty and enormously talented (and a ninja), but what really pulled me in for keeps is a rare Nietzschean attitude. I once mentioned that bungee jumping was the kind of cool she'd be into. Her response was the equivalent of "Peshaw! Speak to me when you've jumped out of a plane". Excelsior! in many ways, as Greg said, "It means we speak the same language."

a true artist, Jess doesn't make awesome for fame and money. She seeks fame and money only as a means for making awesome.

Thanks for the post, Greg. And thank you for your beautiful artwork. I'm here for the amazing, the awesome, hoping I can be a part of it. I'm here to give what I can to help someone who has something beautiful to share. Unfortunately, the simplest thing to give (money) is not so easy these days. So I do what I can, but also stick around for moral support and give feedback when I feel I have something of worth to say. But even if I say nothing, I'm still here. Hopefully that helps in some small way.

I'm here because when I was a little girl I met this girl named Jessica on the softball field and I thought she was pretty nice. Then as we grew with our game and as people I realized she was this crazy outgoing girl that was really fun to be around and a great friend to have. Now as an adult I stick around becuase Jess is amazing, she set out to do what she dreamed of and is making her dream a reality and I fully support her. I still think she is crazy but you know what I wouldnt change her for the world. Jess is an awesome person and one day the world will know her name.
